The Aurora Basecamp domes are located in Hafnarfjörður, on the intersection of Krýsuvík road and Bláfjallavegur, just 20 minutes away from Reykjavík.
The guests leave Reykjavík behind and drive into the wilderness of Reykjanes and into another world.The spherical design is what makes this location unique and different from any other party hall in the Capital area.
Our large dome is 150 square meters and it is equipped with tables and benches that can accommodate 80 people seated and 120 people standing. Projectors and sound systems are available.
Our smaller dome is 110 square meters and can accommodate 60 people seated or 100 people standing. Please note that the smaller dome is not insulated.
The fireplace in the middle of the room creates a cozy atmosphere, while the benches are covered with faux-fur rugs, which add to the comfort.
A large window on the side of each dome lets in the light of day or the night sky, for the guests to enjoy. This is a great opportunity to connect with the Icelandic nature and live a unique and unforgettable experience.
Between the two domes there is a walking path, and along the way guests will find five restrooms. The domes are surrounded by beautiful lava fields, and the outdoor area features seven fire pits with seating.
